Frequently Asked Questions
What is a Professional Organizer?
A professional organizer is a compassionate, responsible professional who works with their
client's skills, abilities, learning type and preferences to create personalized systems that enable
the client to have better physical organization, time-management and stress reduction.
Why hire a Professional Organizer?
A professional organizer helps clients to overcome the overwhelm associated with clutter and to
visualize the big picture. An organizer helps the client develop goals and an action plan to
accomplish them. Often professional organizers are able to reduce stress and overwhelm in
clients and keep clients motivated.
How much does it cost to get organized?
Every organizing project and client is unique. For some clients who need a little motivation to get
a project started on their own, they may only need a few hours for a customized action plan. For
many clients, projects are an on-going process similar to losing weight or getting fit. For

How long does it take to organize?
Organizing is a process that takes a different amount of time for each person. Some people

What if I am too embarassed of my clutter?
It is natural to be embarrassed about your clutter. For many people, clutter becomes
overwhelming until they do not know what to do or where to start. At Simply Andi we are in
business to help people live better lives without judgment. No mess is too big or too small.
Will I be forced to throw things out?
No, your possessions belong to you and you always make the final decision on everything.
However, most clients recognize that de-cluttering is mostly discarding items that are unwanted,
damaged or simply too much. My job as a professional organizer is to assist the decision making
process and ask questions that help the client make conscious decisions about their stuff.
Do I have to be home to have my house organized?
Yes, the organizing process is hands-on learning. Simply Andi does not organize without the
client or the owner. Organizing is highly personal in nature and the client must be present to
make decisions, learn organizing strategies and help create personalized organizing systems.
